The European Digital Hubs (EDIH) network is an EU incubator bringing together SMEs and public organisations to realise the EU’s Digital Decade 2030 goals.

It is one of the world’s most important players in digital innovation, a network that promotes the dissemination of cutting-edge technologies, including AI, cloud and big data, as well as dissemination to provide all European companies with a basic level of digital know-how.

Given the importance of this network, we are delighted to have been asked to participate as a speaker in a session of the European Digital Health working group, entitled Towards Aging 5.0: Digitalisation, Technologies and Policies perspectives.

On Monday 11 March, from 2 to 3 p.m., we will bring our 20 years of experience in the field of active ageing and assisted living environments, sharing knowledge and awareness with leading experts on the EU scene on one of the most important challenges of the near future, given the consolidated trend of a steadily ageing European population, with significant impacts on the structure and organisation of society.

During the session, we will talk about how to support the transformation of companies facing the challenges of ageing 5.0, which not only presents critical issues, but also important development opportunities for a technology sector that has great potential in various areas such as housing and home automation, telemedicine and remote assistance, and continuous monitoring, including through wearable and integrated sensors.

In this context, we will speak about digital transformation and the prospects to be considered for all SMEs operating in these sectors, to show the way and support their growth in view of the future.
